- Manolo Campoamor’s career began in the 70s. By the end of the decade he was singer and composer for the seminal group Kaka de Luxe. In 1980 wanting to get acquainted with the academic discipline, he entered the Arts & Crafts School. After graduating, he has dedicated to painting and has shown his work in the most prestigious art galleries both in Spain and abroad. At the moment, his interest lies in acrylic painting, collage composing and experimenting in the audiovisual field. His manipulating of animal voices serves him as an abstract soundtrack to his video creations. These images represent a selection of his work. Manolo Campoamor empezó dibujando comics en los 70. A finales de la década entró a formar parte como vocalista del grupo proto-punk Kaka de Luxe. En 1980 se matricula en la Escuela de Artes y Oficios con intención de familiarizarse con la disciplina del trabajo. Desde entonces ha expuesto en varias galerías españolas y extranjeras. Actualmente se dedica al arte audiovisual manipulando ruidos de animales como banda sonora abstracta de sus vídeo-creaciones. También pinta acrílicos y realiza collages. Estas imágenes son una muestra de su trabajo.
